Iraq is an Islamic republic with a population of more than 3.7 billion people. These days the people who live in Iraq are called Iraq people with many races including Arabs, Kurd, Aramaic and Turkish people. Before the 8th century, the majority of the Iraqi population had been Arabs which are still true as the majority population is still Arabs. They even speak Arabic language while Kurdish language is also spoken throughout the country. Arabic is the official language because most of the people in Iraq are Muslims and Arabic is their language and the language of their holy book Quran. It is an estimate that more than 70% people of Iraq speak Arabic while others speak Kurdish widely. There are nearly 5% people who speak other languages.
